ADAM SUOMALA, MPA
Adam supports CAL in the areas of strategy development and facilitation, virtual convenings, and strategic communications. An authentic connector with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to listen, inspire and guide, Adam has been developing programs and convening cross-sector groups in the field of aging since 2000 and is currently serving as President and Executive Director of the Minnesota Leadership Council on Aging.
Adam is driven to enhance the experience of aging by helping leaders of non-profit organizations align their strategies and culture for greater mission impact. He draws from multiple disciplines, including strategic foresight, design, public policy, storytelling, writing, research, dialogue, and instruction.
Adam has a passion in fostering collaborations, community engagement, and advocating for co-designed solutions that are equitable and sustainable. He holds a Master of Public Affairs degree and a bachelor’s in Political Science.
